Sweet Symphony was established in 2006 by Louise Jones. Louise first began teaching in September 2000, starting out as an assistant teacher for her own music teacher. After 6 years of both assisting and teaching her own classes, Louise decided to set up her own music tuition business.
After graduating from university she also began work for Sunderland Educational Authority as a peripatetic music teacher, work which takes her to several schools in the Sunderland and Washington region every week.
Sweet Symphony has experience with pupils of all ages – ranging from 4 years old to 70 - and abilities. Those pupils wishing to enter for music exams benefit from our familiarity with two of the major music examining boards – the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music and Trinity-Guildhall. Our pupils’ exam performance is excellent. But whether playing to pass exams or just for enjoyment, pupils at Sweet Symphony are taught to play in a pleasant, friendly environment where everybody is encouraged to reach their full potential.
