We had a really busy week in the Studio last week! It was our April Enrolment Week, which means we welcomed lots of new Students to Sweet Symphony. In addition, we received our first exam results of 2019, welcomed a new Teacher and awarded a month of free tuition to one lucky Student. Phew! Exam
Lucas H. (Piano) Lucas has been a Student at Sweet Symphony for some time now – around 2 and a half years. In that time, he’s sat and passed several exams, both practical and theory. Lucas loves that his Teacher John is enthusiastic in his Piano Lessons, and has really enjoyed learning his song “Minuet”.
Today’s world is very technology-based. For better or worse, smartphones and tablets have taken hold of our lives. Whether it’s booking a holiday, learning a new language or simply reading a book – there’s an app for that. And music lessons are no different. There are hundreds of music-based apps available for tablets and phones.
Over the past few months, our Students have provided us with some fantastic pieces of information about their time with us at Sweet Symphony. Igor M. (Piano) Igor has been coming for Piano Lessons at Sweet Symphony for almost 4 years now, and has a number of grades under his belt, having passed his Grade 3 exam at the end of last year. Igor says the thing he likes most about his Piano Lessons is that he gets to

Robyn has been super busy recently, splitting her time between her piano lessons, a recent music theory exam and school commitments, and so we’ve not had chance to present her with her prize before now. It’s that theory exam
Jasmeen N. (Piano) Jasmeen is one of our newer Piano Students, having been taking lessons on a Saturday for about 7 months now. She likes the way that her teacher Maria makes her lessons funny, and her favourite piece to play so far has been “Rockin’ and Rollin’”. Jasmeen’s interesting fact about herself is that

This way, our Saturday Student gets a feature all to themselves! So, this week’s Saturday Student is… Blake M. (Piano) Blake has been with us just under two years now
We’ve been very busy this week thinking about how best to meet the needs of our Students! 2019 so far has seen a huge growth in lesson enquiries. This is fantastic news, but we were actually getting to the point where we didn’t have any (or very limited!) spaces to offer for certain instruments! Although
Is it just us, or does it seem very spring-like outside at the moment? It’s not before time – we’ve had our fill of the dreary dark days and freezing cold weather. It’s lovely to be able to keep the blinds open that little bit longer on an evening! The (slightly) warmer weather is definitely
